The Air That I Breathe.

Have you ever been to a marathon or a running competition before?Ever wonder why you chest was thumping non-stop at that particular moment in your life?Lets take a look a little bit deeper in the science of human anatomy.

As what you can see above, this is the cross section of a pair of human lungs. This is where the exchange of carbon dioxide, CO2 and oxygen,O2 takes place every and each seconds of our life in making sure that oxygen, O2 is transferred throughout the whole parts of body.

The most important part in lungs are the alveolus, where This exchange of gases is accomplished. To make this happen, lets see how air travels from the outer side of the body and into our lungs and at the same time, take note on the names of parts which are involved in this process.

  1. Mouth/nose - the first part of the entering of air. Either are used to inhale air.
  2. Human Pharynx - is the part of the throat situated immediately posterior to (behind) the mouth and nasal cavity, and cranial, or superior, to the esophagus, larynx, and trachea.
  3. Nasopharynx - is the uppermost part of the pharynx.
  4. Larynx- This part is waht we commonly know as the voice box on our throat. Its purposes are to protect the trachea and producing sounds.
  5. Vertebrate trachea- the tube or called windpipe, is a tube or passageway that connect pharynx and larynx to the lungs to flow the air.
  6. A Bronchus/ bronchi - are the passages of airway that conducts the air from the trachea to the lungs.
  7. Bronchiole - These are the next stage and they are smaller than bronchi, they also conduct the air to flow into the lungs. Bronchiole is just a step before breathings takes place.
  8. Alveolus - this is the part where oxygen that is produced from trees is converted into carbon dioxide and then transferred back to the outer body of all mammals in the world, including us, human being.

The Biggest Star in our Solar System, The Sun.

Ever Wonder How It Gives Benefit To us Rather Than Emitting Hot Ray Everyday?

Have you ever stumbled upon devices that do not even need batteries to operate and instead, they use ray that is emitted and intelligently the ray being converted into priceless and pollution-less type of energy? If you have not, you can always try yo check your ordinary calculator that you got in your house and observe the black panel at the on top of the calculator. It may has several partitions in the panel itself. That's what we call the SOLAR PANEL.

This what the amazing SOLAR PANEL looks like;

Those black panel or as what known as solar panel has its own name. It is called by the name Photovoltaics (PV). How it works? SIMPLE.

SUNRAY------> ENERGY.

Sunlight which is emitted by the sun being generated into electrical power by converting radiation from our biggest star, The Sun into Direct Current electric (DC) . Some of materials which are used in creating Photovoltaics are monocrystalline silicon, polycrystalline silicon, amorphous silicon, cadmium telluride, and copper indium selenide/sulfide.

This tremendously intelligent creation makes us another step ahead in preserving our world from pollution that we ourselves and our ancestors have done in the past and present time. Though it takes more effort and money in making the solar energy to be used widely around the world, it is worth the effect to human being ourselves.
HEALTH
HYGIENE
COMFORTABILITY

These things above are what we need the most in our life and can be achieved by using Solar powered energy.

Music: It Does Help In Learning Process

Music is a medium of art which produced from the combination of sounds.Every day in our life we hear songs in car, in our office, in bed and everywhere else. Uniquely, we tend to change songs that we hear according to our emotion. This proves that songs or specifically, music has got something to do with our cognitive area and able to assist in learning.

Still remember how you first learn the alphabet in kindergarten?
a~
b~
c~
d~
e~
f~
g~~~
Does it still rings in your mind?
Actually, music creates structure for information to be remembered easier by our mind. That is the reason why we still can remember what we were taught when we were in kindergarten like all of those folk songs.
Education and music could be combined to create far better creative learning and teaching surroundings in schools around Malaysia. This is not to say that music alone can help education to be better and more receptive by students but it has been approved that students who like to listen to music scored better in studies.
Better, learning with music also known to help students which have disabilities in learning.

Physical Education.

Healthy mind and body are important and vital factors in producing smart and diligent human being. These steps below are also applicable to school students to keep them energetic, healthy and active in school time.

Step 1. Do not whine about “heavy school bags” that you have to carry to school every day.

Process of fat burning happens as high as 30% to an individual who carries a school bag pack which is 20% of his body weight. This fact has been proved by the American College of Sports Medicine after the studies that had been done. The long and forceful strides of walking to, around and from the school area surely will help students to lose the extra weight and baggage that they have in their body.

Step 2. The importance of sleep to students.

Normal human being need at least eight long hours of sleep to maintain and rejuvenate the energy that they have used in their everyday life. For school students, this is ultimately important because they have to divide and manage time effectively for their studies. Sleep also could minimize the amount of body fat in the abdominal area of a person. This is because, sleep helps human to increase the ability to burn the extra carbohydrates which are not fully utilized by human body. To make sure students can get good and comfortable sleep time, three hours gap should be put between whatever heavy activities they want to do and sleep time because heavy activities stimulate adrenaline and cause interference to the process of sleeping.

Step 3.Join sports club in school.

Studying alone in your room in the evening is not enough. Human mind will feel the tiredness in reading and doing all of those home works and assignments that they got from school. Spare some time and get your mind and body activities which can pump blood and adrenaline throughout the whole body to sustain and maintain the amount of energy that needs to be used daily. It is not wrong to say that students who excel in sport activities also excel better in their studies. Rumors that is told to teenagers and students nowadays where drinking milk will make them fat is a hoax. In fact, research that was done by McMaster University shows that 600ml of skimmed milk helps human to lose weight far better than drinking sports drink alone. So, it is up to parents, teachers and students themselves to choose how they want students life to be, either dull or active.

Step 4.Manage and plan eating structure.

In order for students to stay away from diseases caused by fat such as obesity and heart attack, they have to know that eating is also important. One has to eat five small meals every day which the first three meals should contain protein, carbohydrates, healthy fats that boiled egg, wholegrain toast and grilled cheese have. For the last two meals of the days, parents should prepare meals that contain lots of protein in them like cuisines that contain fishes.

Step 5. Get a relieve from the long day stress at school and studying by jogging in the evening.

Get partners to be on your side while running on the park in the evening. Do not walk fast. Instead, run slowly because, fat burning process only happen at the fullest and optimum level when your heart rate reach 134BPM (beats per minute). It is also best to be advised that one that wants to maintain his ideal weight and one that wants to lose weight to jog in the evening 30 minutes a session, 3 times a week because according to research that was done, each minutes that an individual takes to jog, 0.7g of fat in body is burned. Slowly, this will help students to get their ideal weight. For those who want to view their progress better, they can get the heart beat monitor which can show the amount of heartbeat when they jog.

I Wonder by Jeannie Kirby: A Poem Analysis

I Wonder by Jeannie Kirby.
1st Stanza.
I wonder why the grass is green,
And why the wind is never seen
The writer was questioning about why the color of the grass is green and not other colors. He also did question about why the wind cannot be seen. As we know, we can feel the wind blows and pass us by everyday in our lives. The writer most probably would be a small kid, because children only knows that physical contacts only can be created when an object touches another. For writer in this case, he/she needs something to be made as evidence of why he can feel the wind blowing.
2nd Stanza.
Who taught the birds to build a nest,
And told the trees to take a rest?
This particular kid (person) questioned why the bird that he saw was building a nest for itself though the kid knew that no one or no other creatures did teach the bird to do so. He also knew that animals do not possess the wisdom to invent something on their own. In this situation, he did not know that it is just the nature of animals to seek for protection and safe place to hide. As the time turns to sunset and about to be night time, the kid wondered why the trees stopped producing oxygen and why they were doing so and on whose order.
3rd Stanza.
And when the moon is not quite round,
Where can the missing bit be found?
Because the whole daytime has been windy, the kid then questioned why he could not see moon anywhere at the sky because at the moment, it was about to rain and the clouds already covered the skies up. He did not know that the rain comes from the process of condensation and needs the clouds to turn the air to liquid (rainwater).
4th Stanza.
Who lights the stars, when they blow out,
And makes the lightning flash about?
As he could see the stars that were shining at the skies, they questioned how they shine and how they could be so bright at the night time. He only knew that light and brightness only comes from things that are burning and fired up by human being themselves. Lightning that stroked many times during the moment caught his attention because no one create lightning and makes them appear at the sky.
5th Stanza.
Who paints the rainbow in the sky,
And hangs the fluffy clouds so high?
The day after, the kid could see the rainbow appeared at the sky and the formation of the colors of the rainbow makes him guessing of who painted and designed such organized pattern of colors. After the rain, the clouds rise up higher because they are fluffier now, light and softer, free from the water particles and reveal the beautiful colors of the rainbow.
6th Stanza.
Why is it now, do you suppose,
That Dad won’t tell me if he knows?
Last of all, the kid questioned all the readers why his father (Dad) did not tell him if his Dad ever knew of why all the panoramas that he had seen happened before his own eyes. It is because the kid himself is still a young child, naïve, and innocent and his father might not tell him because afraid that he would not understand of how nature really works.

:- One of the poem that I've analysed myself and this poem looks very interesting. It reveals about nature and who created our world and most importantly, who created us. It is for us to find out who we are and what we were to be in this world.
